music background

i've been surrounded by music since birth. my parents both were dancers throughout school, and i danced until i was 12. i went to an art school k-12 where music was always my favorite subject. throughout school, i made money by burning cds to sell. even now, my physical collection includes a lot of burned albums since some artists are moving away from physical discs :( very sad for me my dad collects cds, and i have followed his footsteps. i have a music corner that i greatly treasure, and my record player was honestly a steal since it can play via bluetooth, cd, cassete, vinyl, and aux. now, i study music as a job, yay! my favorite genres include funk, bedroom pop, k-pop, r&b, afrobeat, edm, t-pop, emo rock

	This Is For - twice so i actually have this album on repeat! i love how many different songwriters worked on this project, and it's evident that by keeping a lot of the songs in english this was meant to extend outside of k-pop. however, with all of the songwriting, i know that twice members themselves could have had a lot more involvement in the process, and maybe that's what's missing from this project. top 4: options; mars; this is for; talk
	DON'T TAP THE GLASS - tyler, the creator i listened to this firstwhile running errands, and i had the fight urges to bust a move in the middle of kroger. i adore this album and what it stands for, and i play it all the time. one thing that i appreciate about tyler, the creator's production is that it sounds good no matter what i play it on. also, i enjoy recognizing samples especially on "don't you worry baby" top 4: big poe; ring, ring ring; don't you worry baby; i'll take care of you
